Welcome to ITS Tournament Play!

The tournament will go for 2 rounds, each round is 3 hours in length. Since this is intended to be the first Infinity tournament for most players, the TO will come around periodically to make sure everyone can complete a full game in the generous time limits. No Reinforcements or other “ITS Extras” will be used. Prize support will be completely random, so play to have fun!

Do you want to show off all your hard work at the painting table over the last few weeks? There will also be a painting competition, judged by passersby in the store. They will be asked to choose the group of units that looked like it received the most care and attention, and will not be allowed to touch or pick up the models.

Still not sure whether you should enter? A second winner will be chosen randomly for participation, so what do you have to lose?

Entry is $10 on the day of the event at the store! Please bring a printed list and a printed courtesy list for your opponents. If you need your lists printed, ask in the channel at least a day in advance.

General rulings

Unless otherwise specified at the table, consider terrain to be playable as follows:

Open Windows: Shooting into and out of buildings is fine, but not through them.

Acrylic Windows: Decorative only. They’re opaque and bulletproof, just like walls.

Doors: Always open! WYSIWYG

Objective Markers: S2 or S5 depending on the token’s base on the table, cover is granted like normal terrain.

Anything else: Talk it over with your opponent before the game!

No spec ops, soldiers of fortune, terrain, or reinforcements rules are used.

Schedule:

• 10:30a-11:00a: Registration, Meet and greet, Announcements, etc.
• 11:00a-2:00p: Round 1
• 2:00p-3:00p: Lunch break, painting contest judging
• 3:00p-6:00p: Round 2
• 6:15p-6:45p: Prizes
• 6:45p-???: After-tournament festivities at a nearby establishment (Conan’s?)
